Question

Can I descale my Tassimo (TAS 20xxUC) single brewer with the descaling powder you offer, or do I use something different?

I used to descale my other coffee makers using one cup of vinegar to 2 of water, and running several times. This realy worked, but since this machine I have now is different, Im not sure?... Help!

Descaling agents (not vinegar-based) can be obtained from various retailers or from TASSIMO Customer Service Department at 1-877-TDISCS1 (1-877-834 -7271) or on www.tassimo.com. Never use vinegar or vinegar-based products to clean your Tassimo machine.

I had a similar issue when I first bought mine. What I did was to take the piercing unit out and soaked it over night in soapy water. The next day I took a pipe cleaner and pulled it through the opening several times removing a lot of built up stuff. Returned it to it's proper place and it started working again. Now I just order replacement ones for 9.99 from this site and change them out once a quarter. It keeps everything running at top performance. See if that works for you as it did for me. Good Luck

To make Iced Coffee you need to fill your cup with ice and place the designated T-Disc in the brewer and press the brew button. The coffee will come out hot at first but the ice will quickly cool the drink.

The new Mavea Filters are only for use with the T45 and T65 Bosch Brewers that include the water filter holder for the water tank. These filters will not work in the original Braun brewers.

How do I get a hold of the new Gelavia Dark Roast Coffees that Tassimo has been promising in lieu of starbucks

I had the chance to try the Gelavia Dark Roast bold coffee at someones office today and its pretty good. How come I cant order this for home now. How do I get a hold of this stuff???

By the way I have tried the coffees that were suggessted in response to my first questions (Maxwell House French Roast, Kenco, Maestro Lorenzo Crema amd Nabob) and they all have a very mild flavor, some taste like brown water. I am writing this so that others dont bother trying these as a replacement for Starbucks.

Question

MY coffee maker never puts enough water in coffee no msatter what kind I brew. I have to add addtional coffee everytime.

I do not feel I should have to stand there each time to add water esp since this is a more expensive brewer.

Gevalia Morning Roast and Maxwell House Morning Blend have a target drink volume of 12 fl oz. With the exception of the Iced coffees, these have the largest target drink volume. While the Maxwell House Morning Blend is temporarily unavailable there are no plans to discontinue this product at this time.

If your brewer is out of the warranty our agents will provide you with a list of repair centers, so that your issue can be resolved.

There are 16 T DISCS in each package of Espresso T DISCS. The Latte and Cappuccino packages contain 16 T DISCS as well, 8 Espresso T DISCS and 8 special milk T DISCS.

Remove the water tank from your TASSIMO machine and take the Service T DISC out (9). Insert it in the brewing unit with the barcode face down, and close the clamp down firmly. Prepare descaling solution (not vinegarbased) according to the manufacturer‘s instructions. If you cannot find an appropriate descaling agent at various retailers, it is available through TASSIMO or Bosch customer Service Department. Replace the water tank containing the descaling solution back on the machine.
Remove the cup stand and place a suitable container (min. 17 oz / 500 ml capacity) under the drink outlet. Press and hold the start/stop button for at least 3 seconds to start the descaling program.
The program now proceeds automatically and QDescale and O Automatic lights flash. (Duration approx. 20 minutes). The descaling solution is pumped through the appliance at intervals and then runs into the container until the water tank is almost empty. A little liquid is always left in the tank.

TASSIMO PRO MACHINE FOR THE HOME

With all the competition from Keurig and Tassimo's small number of available machines, I wonder why you dont offer the PRO machine for home use?? It has several features that I personally love, like the direct water hookup, the empty t-disc ejector, the larger cup area, etc. It looks like a good machine but I wonder if it sells to corporate America at all because of the Keurigs...............you should consider offering it for home consumers.

The Tassimo Pro Machine is design to be used in high volume settings and uses T discs that are not compatable with the Tassimo Home machines. We do appreciate this suggestion and have forwarded it to the appropriate department for review.

The shelf life of Tassimo Hot chocolate products is 12 months. Tassimo cannot guarantte the product will have the best flavor or quality once the "Best By" date has passed; however, the product should still be safe to consume for a reasonable period of time as long as it is stored properly.
